Bothell resident charged with vehicular assault | UPDATE

A collision on Interstate 5 Saturday afternoon injured three Bothell residents and three Seattle residents.

A Bothell resident was driving northbound on Interstate 5 when his vehicle left the roadway to the right, striking the guard rail and flipping upside down. Drugs and alcohol were involved, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The driver is being charged with vehicular assault. The incident is still under investigation.

The Washington State Patrol Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation.
