Bothell City Hall groundbreaking scheduled for Sept. 3

The Bothell City Hall Groundbreaking Ceremony has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2014 on the site of the future City Hall.

The new building will be located at 18305 101st Ave. NE in Bothell. The ceremony marks the start of construction of Bothell’s new City Hall, a signature project in Bothell’s ambitious vision for its downtown revitalization. The development team is led by Vulcan Real Estate.

Present for the ceremony will be Bothell Mayor Joshua Freed, representatives from Vulcan Real Estate, and other important partners and community leaders.

The new City Hall replaces the current City Hall that was built in 1938. Located in the heart of Bothell’s downtown, the City Hall and multi-use campus is a key element of the City’s downtown revitalization plan that has already attracted over $200 million in private investment and is expected to stimulate an additional $450 million in private investment over the coming years.

The cost of the facility is $46,764,365 and is expected to serve the community for the next 75 years or more. The development team led by Vulcan Real Estate includes Miller Hull and GLY Construction.
