The Northshore School District and the Northshore Education Association reached a tentative agreement Aug. 22 on a new three-year contract for teachers. Teachers and certificated support personnel will vote on the new contract Aug. 27.

"We expect school to begin as scheduled on Tuesday, Sept. 2," said Northshore Superintendent Larry Francois. "Thanks for the hard work of the members of both bargaining teams."

Northshore Public Schools serve 20,000 students in Bothell, Kenmore, and Woodinville.
