Several hours after completing his 8:30 a.m. company service job on Tuesday, a 39-year-old man was found dead in his vehicle in the parking lot of Bothell’s Fred Meyer store.

“He was found slumped in his vehicle,” said Bothell Police Detective Sgt. Elmer Brown. “There was nothing suspicious and it appeared to be a medical-related death.”

According to Brown, the man was en route to his next job when he apparently pulled into the parking lot. The company he worked for received a complaint call that he hadn’t shown up for his next job. Soon after, a co-worker tracked the man’s vehicle to Fred Meyer using the company’s GPS on the vehicle.

Bothell’s fire and police departments were called to the scene.
