Early afternoon fire hits Bothell home

About 12:09 p.m. May 26, Bothell Fire and EMS, the Northshore, Shoreline and Woodinville fire departments all responded to a residential structure fire at 9728 NE 200th St., in Bothell.
Bothell Fire Public Information Officer Kirsten Clemens said that upon arrival, firefighters found the first and second floors of the home heavily involved in fire. Emergency crews extinguished the flames after making an interior attack.
Clemens said the homeowners were safely evacuated from the residence and no injuries were reported. She added two dogs also were evacuated from the home with no injuries.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known and still was under investigation early the afternoon of May 26. Clemens said the home suffered significant fire, smoke and water damage, but a damage estimate was not immediately available.
