Preparing to discuss environmental issues

Local school instructors, students and King County officials attended a groundbreaking cermony of the Brightwater Environmental Educational Community Center Thursday morning. The center, to be located at 228th St. S.E. and State Route 9 in Woodinville, will open in 2010.
Pictures feature former Northshore science instructor Mike Reid and King County photographer Ned Ahrens; Skyview Junior High instructor John Schmied and his students Jenna Hyppa and Hailey Hunt.
