Detectives were still at the scene of the incident the morning of Nov. 5 after a rare Bothell shooting, according to Bothell Police Department spokesperson Capt. Denise Langford.

Police initially responded to the 21600 block of 11th Court Southeast, in the Snohomish County portion of Bothell for a reported shooting Nov. 4 at approximately 7:25 p.m. A male shooting victim, 24, was located inside a townhome at that location. The victim was subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center for potential life-threatening injuries.

Langford said no update on his status was available early Nov. 5. She added there was no suspect information to be released and officials still were processing evidence from the crime scene.

Previously, in a press release, Langford said detectives were interviewing several potential witnesses. Detectives have advised, she said, it does not appear to have been a random shooting.

Langford did not know when the last time Bothell had suffered a shooting. She said serious crime issues in the city are fairly rare.
