Bothell police looking for suspects in store robbery

The Bothell Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying two men involved in a strong-arm robbery.

The incident took place at the Cigar Land store located in the Canyon Park area of Bothell, at 22800 SR 527, at approximately 1:55 p.m. on April 20.

According to Bothell Police Public Information Officer Capt. Denise Langford, both men entered the store, and one of the men forcefully took the cash drawer from the register while assaulting the female clerk in the process. Both suspects fled from the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators recovered photographs of the two suspects from the store security video. Officials are checking to see if other cities have experienced similar robberies.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects caught on video tape is asked to call Bothell Police Department’s tip line at 425.487.5551. Tips can also be made online on the city of Bothell’s Web site at www.ci.bothell.wa.us.
