Apartment employees find meth pipe atop mail box | Bothell police blotter

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of calls to the Bothell Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. Between Nov. 22 and Nov. 28, there were four traffic collisions, three criminal traffic incidents, two hit-and-runs, two vehicle prowls, 9 thefts, two incidents involving illegal drugs, no incidents of harassment, one incident of fraud, one robbery, one assault and 7 warrants served.

Nov. 22

Drugs: 2:54 p.m., 1600 block of 228th St. SE; Employees at the Canyon Pointe Apartments found a meth pipe on top of the apartment mailbox. Police took custody of the pipe, which was marked for destruction.

Burglary: 7 p.m., 19100 block of 112th Ave. NE; Two suspects entered Annigan Dental through the back door without any sign of a forced entry. The suspects did not take anything, and may have been scared off by the alarm. According to security footage, the suspects are two white adult males in dark clothing.

Nov. 23

DUI: 10:35 p.m., 20100 block of Bothell Way NE; Police stopped a 21-year-old Bothell man for speeding and failure to stay in his lane. The man had been drinking and provided breath samples of .188 and .189. The man was cited and released, pending his arraignment with Bothell court.

Nov. 25

Malicious mischief: 12 a.m., 18300 block of 96th Ave. NE; A 28-year-old man called to report damage to his green Kawasaki motorcycle. The ignition had been tampered with overnight, as though someone had tried to force the ignition with a screwdriver.

Nov. 26

Drugs: 9:32 p.m., 22800 block of SR 527 SE; Police stopped a Cadillac with expired tabs, driven by a 32-year-old Lynnwood man. The man gave a false name, and when admitted his real name, was found to have a suspended license. The man was also in possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested for obstruction, driving with a suspended license and drug violations.
