Beat the heat tomorrow at Kenmore City Hall, library

The city of Kenmore will have the air-conditioned City Hall open to the public on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those who need to get out of the heat.

The city of Kenmore will have the air-conditioned City Hall open to the public on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those who need to get out of the heat.

The Kenmore Library will also be open to the public with free water available.

Weather forecasters are predicting that temperatures could reach 100 degrees in the greater Seattle area on Friday.

City staff will also have free water and Otter Pops for those in attendance at City Hall.

The sprinklers will be turned on at City Hall on the lawn from 12:30- 2 p.m. for residents to cool off.

Food trucks will also be available from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Kenmore City Hall is located at 18120 68th Ave NE in Kenmore.
