Bothell High School grad earns scholarship from WWU

Western Washington University student Kaelin Newman, a Bothell High School grad, received the $2,300 Kurt Schmierer Memorial Endowment scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Western Washington University student Kaelin Newman, a Bothell High School grad, received the $2,300 Kurt Schmierer Memorial Endowment scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The scholarship is given to students majoring in Geology at Western. Newman graduated from Bothell High School in 2013 plans to continue her studies of Geology in graduate school after she finishes at Western.
