A Bothell woman, who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident, and police are asking the public to help her locate the other driver.

The woman’s creme-colored Kia Soul was rear-ended between 11 a.m. and noon Sept. 22 near the Bank of America on Bothell Everett Highway and 228th Street Southeast in Canyon Park. She suffered a concussion and back, neck and shoulder injuries; her car received $7,500 worth of damage.

“I was at a dead stop and I saw her coming at me. I could hear her revving her engine and then… bam! And then she took off,” said the victim, who prefers to remain anonymous.

She didn’t get a license-plate number, no drivers tracked down the other car and there aren’t any Washington State Department of Transportation or bank cameras to give insight into the accident.

“At that time, there are hundreds and hundreds of people around,” the victim said of the lunch-hour traffic at the busy intersection.

If anyone has information regarding the accident, call the Bothell Police Department dispatch line at (425) 486-1254. The case number is 11-20538.
