We are pleased by the recognition, because we believe in the power of a UW Bothell degree to transform lives and uplift communities.”

In the release, Sean Marsh, interim associate vice chancellor of advancement, said, “As we near our 30th year in 2020, UW Bothell has more than 22,000 alumni and most of them remain in the state of Washington where they are innovating new technologies and contributing to the region’s quality of life.”

According to the release, June Altaras, MultiCare senior vice president and chief quality, safety and nursing officer, credits the classes she took at UW Bothell for her analytical thinking, research success and vision for diversity in hiring and patient care.

“I believe that there is not a day that goes by that my education at UW Bothell doesn’t influence something I’m doing, impact my thinking or impact a decision,” she said in the release.
