March 3

A vehicle was reported as stolen from a residence near Northeast 186th Street. The vehicle has a value of around $2,000 and was recovered by Kent Police a few days later. There are no suspects at this time.

Two suspects were arrested near the L.A. Fitness on 220th Street for multiple motor vehicle prowls.

March 4

A victim accidentally left his garage door open to the detached garage near 6th Avenue West. An unknown suspect stole golf clubs, a cart bag and a battery charger.

Two subjects were loading wooden pallets at Home Depot, near 120th Avenue Northeast, when store employees approached them and told the subjects to return the pallets. The subjects refused and drove off. There were around 35 or more pallets in the suspects vehicle, each worth approximately $15 each. King County Sheriff Officers (KCSO) were informed of a recent similar case involving a similar vehicle and similar suspects. The suspects were eventually found and cited through investigation.

March 5

A person stole a business suit from an unlocked vehicle while the parked near the Panera Bread on Highway 527. The suit was worth approximately $1,000.

A victim was contacted by a credit card company, who informed the victim that the unknown suspects had placed money of the car from an IRS tax return, also completed in the victims name. The IRS and credit card transactions were not authorized by the victim.

March 6

A victim, residing near Northeast 190th Street, left her vehicle running outside her apartment while it warmed up. She looked outside the window and saw an unknown subject in the vehicle and backing out of the parking spot, then begin to drive away. Her personal property, including a purse and currency, were in the vehicle though not recovered with the vehicle when it was found a few days later by Everett police. There is a suspect in custody.

Two Razor Scooters were removed from a deck area of a ground floor condominium near 116th Avenue Northeast. They were valued at around $100.

A residential burglary occurred near Northeast 160th Place and is still under active investigation.

March 7

A commercial burglary occurred near North Creek Parkway and is still under active investigation.

A vacuum was stolen from an unsecured carport after the owner had left it there after cleaning out her vehicle. The theft occurred near 104th Avenue Northeast.

A residential burglary occurred near West 8th Place and is still under active investigation.

A sexual crime occurred along Southeast 527 and is currently under investigation.

March 8

A motor vehicle was falsely reported as stolen from near 228th Street Southeast. The subject later contacted police to inform authorities that a friend had borrowed the vehicle. The owner was cited for false reporting.

A 79 year old female died at home with family members present. There was an active Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order on file and the female appeared to have died from natural causes.

A theft occurred near 92nd Avenue Northeast and is still under active investigation.

March 9

A 74 year old female passed away near Northeast 92nd Place. The deceased had heart problems and was reported as unconscious and non-responsive by her husband. Aid responded but was not able to revive the victim. The female appeared to have died from natural causes.

March 10

A person found several pieces of mail in the bushes near 221st Street Southwest and called authorities to report the issue. The mail was from three residences near where the mail was found. The officers returned the mail to the addressees.

A line of three cars was stopped near Highway 527 when a fourth car hit the last in the line, causing each car to hit the one in front of it. The drive of the fourth car go out and looked at the damage to her car, then got back in and left the area. While all passengers had been cleared by medical units, the vehicles sustained damage and the driver of the suspected car was not found.

A person residing near Bothell Way Northeast reported that, over the course of a few weeks’ visitors, her medication was stolen and she doesn’t know which of her visitors had done it.

A residence near Northeast 146th Street was the victim of burglary. The homeowner returned home to find the back exterior door window had been broken out and the door was open. A large rock had been found inside the residence on the floor. An Xbox, controller, and Xbox One Kinect was reported as missing, costing around $450 plus the costs of replacing the door.

March 11

A counterfeiting case was discovered near 17th Avenue SE. This is still an active investigation.

A residence near 103rd Avenue Northeast was broken into. The victim returned to find a screen had been removed from a front window ad the window was damaged. Upon inspection, the victim found that an engraved pocket watch, valued around $300, and a keychain with the house key and an old Volkswagen key was missing.

March 12

Graffiti was found by an employee of Bothell Library. The graffiti had taken place over the past few weeks in the men’s bathroom on two separate occasions and similar graffiti was found in a study room. The graffiti was photographed and then cleaned off the premises.

March 13

An employee of Seattle Children’s Home Care reported fuel theft from their business fleet. Surveillance video shows a vehicle and suspect entering the parking lot and taking fuel, but the video was not clear enough to ID the suspects.

A thief stole a USB charging cord from a business near Bothell Way Northeast and was found wandering around the area after the theft. The cord was retrieved by authorities and the subject released.

A subject said he accidentally dropped his wallet at Starbucks near 120th Avenue Northeast. When he realized this, about an hour later, and returned for it someone had turned in the walled but had taken the $150 inside. It is unknown who took the money.

An employee of a business near E. Riverside Drive found their prescription medicine had been taken from her purse at work. The employee had left their purse open during work.

Authorities witnessed a subject walking and stopped their vehicle to engage with the subject in conversation. The subject stated he believed he was shot at with a BB Gun or air soft pistol, though he was not hit by the projectile. The victim stated that it was a drive-by style incident and he had heard 2-3 ‘pops’ from a vehicle as it drove by. The vehicle is a white Honda Civic, occupied (at the time) by two subjects.

March 14

A person sold a MacBook on Craigslist, however when he went to deposit the money in the ATM the $100 bills were rejected. Upon inspection they were found to be counterfeit.

March 15

A suspect hit mail boxes near 374th Avenue West and then fled the scene. The owner of a mailbox saw the incident and provided a vehicle description. The suspects vehicle was later spotted with two flat tires and the suspects father was in the vehicle. After a conversation with the stepson, the suspect agreed to repair the mailbox and all parties agreed to not prosecute for the hit and run.

A theft occurred near 228th Street Southeast. The case is under active investigation.
