Drunk woman causes disturbance at Kenmore Lanes | King County Sheriff’s Blotter

Between Nov. 21 and Nov. 28, there was one DUI, four thefts, two burglaries, three assaults, one incident involving illegal drugs, one motor vehicle prowl and one incident of vandalism.

Nov. 21

Larceny: 4:19 p.m., 7700 block of NE 175th St.; A black bicycle with gold Redline lettering was stolen from the Trail Walk Condos. The bike was later located by a citizen on the Burke-Gilman Trail and returned to the owner.

Nov. 23

Vandalism: 3:59 p.m., 6600 block of NE 202 St.; An unknown suspect broke a truck window, but nothing was taken from the truck.

Nov. 24

DUI: 2:06 a.m., NE 187th St. and 68th Ave. NE; A driver ran into a fire hydrant, and was arrested and booked into SCORE.

Assault: 11:34 p.m., 5800 block of NE 198th Place; A resident pushed their mother, then broke the house phone when their stepfather attempted to call 911. The suspect was arrested for 4th-degree assault, domestic violence, malicious mischief and interfering with reporting of domestic violence.

Nov. 25

Hit and run: 1:54 a.m., 16700 block of Juanita Drive NE; A driver ran into a tree at the Green Leaf Apartments. A passerby called 911 when he noticed two men and another vehicle attempting to pull the car off of the tree.

Larceny: 10:26 a.m., 18000 block of 68th Ave. NE; A female entered the Kenmore Rite Aid and took several items into the bathroom, where she emptied them into another container. The woman then left through the back door without paying for her cart full of merchandise.

Drunkenness: 2:49 p.m., 7600 block of NE Bothell Way; Police responded to reports of a drunk woman at Kenmore Lanes. The woman was causing a disturbance and was unable to care for herself, and was taken to the hospital for detox.

Nov. 26

Stolen property: 10:42 a.m., 6800 block of NE Bothell Way; A woman was stopped after attempting to shoplift groceries from the Kenmore Safeway, and was found to be in possession of three stolen debit cards.

Vehicle prowl: 11:53 a.m., 6800 block of NE 191st St.; An unknown suspect broke into a car and rummaged through it.

Nov. 27

Larceny: 7:57 a.m., 8600 block of NE Bothell Way; Scratch tickets were stolen from behind the register at the Kenmore Safeway fuel station while the clerk was helping another customer. The suspect vehicle returned as stolen out of Kirkland.

Mischief: 10:56 p.m., 15100 block of 84th Ave. NE; Two 16-year-olds were playing basketball at Moorland’s Elementary, and both had marijuana in their systems. The juveniles were released to their parents.

Nov. 28

Obstructing: 12:30 a.m., 6300 block of NE Bothell Way; A woman caused a disturbance at the Kenmore Safeway, then hid from the responding officers behind a closed business. The woman was booked into SCORE for willfully hindering the investigation by providing several false names, and was also charged with loitering.

Drugs: 8:29 a.m., 18700 block of 73rd Ave. NE; A woman was stopped for speeding and found to have heroin in the door pocket of her vehicle.
