Fire destroys Kenmore house, ruled suspicious

Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a house fire in the 7000 block of Northeast 182nd Street around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday in Kenmore.

An unoccupied home caught fire, and firefighters from the Northshore, Bothell, Woodinville and Shoreline fire departments had the blaze under control by around 8:05 a.m. No injuries were reported.

According to a Northshore Fire Department spokesperson, the house was destroyed. The King County Assessor’s website listed the house as being worth $114,000.

A press release issued by Northshore Fire Department said the cause of the fire is under investigation but ruled it was suspicious.

Fire officials urge neighbors with any possible information on the fire to call the Kenmore Police Department or the Northshore Fire Department.
