The Northshore Senior Center is hosting a free recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29.

They will be accepting computers, TVs, small and large appliances, scrap metal, old bicycles and more. Items will be collected at the senior center, located at 10212 E. Riverside Dr., by Green Planet.

The event is hosted by the Northshore Senior Center in partnership with  Karol Cox, Kevin Scott and the K2 Real Estate Group.
