Bothell’s HealthPoint is hosting its annual Family 5k, called Dare to Care, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Sponsored by HealthPoint, a network of community-based, non-profit health clinics, the Dare to Care 5k encourages all citizens to speak about their health with their family, friends, doctors and communities.

Entrants can be of any fitness level, and adults, children and dogs are all welcome.

Aside from the early morning 5k, there will also be post-race food, live music, children’s activities, an appearance by Seattle Seahawks mascot, Blitz, and more. Fido will also get a special treat.

HealthPoint in Bothell is located on 10414 Beardslee Blvd.
