Partial cheeseburger left behind in stolen car | Police Blotter

Jan. 23

Vehicle prowl: At 10:34 a.m. in the 15500 block of Juanita-Woodinville Way Northeast, a victim’s car was prowled while parked at the Brickyard Park and Ride. There was no damage to the vehicle, but a stereo, boots, a tool bag and a container with $50 in quarters was taken.

Hit-and-run: At 4:52 p.m. in the 20800 block of Bothell-Everett Highway, officers were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run accident. The car had at least one dent in the rear bumper. Moments later, officers responded to reports of a car crashing into a residence. The vehicle was described as a Jeep, the same make of car that fled the car accident. The suspect was found and issued a citation.

Jan. 24

Forgotten cheeseburger: At 5:25 a.m. in the 12100 corner of Northeast 171st Place, officers responded to reports of a stolen vehicle. After the owner drove around looking for her car, she found it. Both plates were on it and it was undamaged except for the radio and climate controls that were missing. Part of a cheeseburger was left behind in the vehicle.

Botox-sign burglar: At 9:01 a.m. in the 18100 block of Bothell Way Northeast, the owner of DS Skin and Lips reported that her two sandwich board signs were stolen. One taken in December, the other in February. Each cost $600 and read “DS skin & lips botox fillers.”
