Srebnik and Baker advance to general election for Kenmore council Pos. 6 race

In the City of Kenmore council primary race for Pos. 6, Debra Srebnik and Carol Baker will advance to the general in November.

The election results were certified Tuesday evening, with Srebnik leading the way with 2,450 votes, or 53.85 percent. Baker received 1,128 votes, or 24.79 percent.

Bob Black, the third candidate in the race, received 956 votes, ore 21.01 percent.

Voter turnout was at 31.95 percent, with 4,782 ballots counted out of a total of 14,966 registered voters, according to King County Elections.
