Ronald S. Delmont, son of Samuel and Mary Delmont, was born September 27, 1939 in Franklin, NJ. Died September 11, 2010 in Kirkland, Washington. Ron graduated from Franklin High School 1957. US Marine from 1958 to 1962. Attended Eastern Kentucky University Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University 1972. Married June 3, 1967. Moved to Washington State 1974 Climbed Mt Rainier to the top July 1975 – the beautiful Mt Rainier poster above his desk says “You have only to open your eyes to see the hand of God”. Ron retired in August of 1990.Beloved husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, neighbor, hiker, mountain climber, bicyclist, canoeist and kayaker, golfer, provider, “Camp Counselor” on his camping trips with his buddies. Ron loved being in the great outdoors. Ron is survived by his wife Kathy Delmont, brother Adrian (Doris), sister Marie (Ronnie) Rome, sister-in-law Margie Schwarz, brother-in-law Rick (Margie), brother-in-law Fred (Diana) Schwarz, niece Stacey Delmont (Roger Quick), niece Kim (Derrick, children Logan and Mackenzie) Scudieri, Andrea Delmont (Mark Veltri, child Brady), niece Rhonda Rome, niece Robyn (Brad, children Haley and Sidney) Sparta, niece Renee (Gary, children Kelsey and Colin) Westerkamp.
