Find out the facts and then voice your opinion on TPP | Letter

The TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership - 12 country trade agreement written by corporations in secret, with no public input) is for the benefit of corporations but not for the people. It will be brought to a vote in Congress after the elections, at the time when many congresspersons are leaving office and have no need to please their constituents. It is being pushed as a good thing by the administration, polls appear to be in favor at first glance, but if you look further, you'll find that 67 percent of the people either know very little or nothing about it. I have not talked to one person who is for it.

When you decide where you stand, please let your representative know. Historically, “free trade” decisions have been made in the House. So, call or write your representative to let them know your thoughts. Rep. DelBene says she is still “undecided,” so for those who care about the far-reaching consequences of such an agreement, she does need to hear from you.
