Immigration exacerbates global warming | Letter

Lauren Cartwright of Mercer Island wrote that Dow Constantine “had no end” to his dedication to fight global warming.

Yet he votes and uses his executive powers to unlimitedly increase the flow of immigrants to this county, whether illegally or legally. And, given that the per capita greenhouse gas emission rate is significantly higher than in all other countries, Constantine apparently doesn’t take that into consideration as he pretends to “solve” global warming.

And can you think of a global warming problem – like depletion of potable water and degradation of food supply areas – that is not exacerbated by absorbing many thousands of people per year who have poor language skills and a significant number of whom have less than an eighth grade education? Or is there an environmental problem not exacerbated by it?
