McAuliffe's scare tactics are a distraction | Letter

McAuliffe’s campaign is portraying her opponent, Dawn McCravey, as this crazed woman who is going to overturn abortion. That isn’t going to happen. McCravey will go with what the majority of Washingtonians want on these very sensitive issues.

McCravey is running because her strength is in education, which is what the majority of our state budget goes toward and the 1st District is in need of a senator that can do it right in the education department.

McAuliffe’s scare tactics are a distraction from McAuliffe’s education record, which has plummeted since she’s been chairing it in Olympia. Check Dawn’s record with the Northshore School Board and you’ll see why you’ll want her to represent you in Olympia.

And to help cement your decision, if you put aside the issues, just know that every dog or kid that knows Dawn, loves her. You know dogs are a good judge of character, so just that should help you make the right decision for your next 1st District senator!
