Congratulations to Suzan DelBene

Congratulations to Congresswoman Suzan DelBene. There is no doubt that she was the better candidate. I hope that she is able to work well with the other 11 members of Washington State’s congressional delegation. We have many pressing issues that need to be addressed with thoughtful consideration.

I hope that she is able to bridge the gap between the parties and not be just another Democrat block vote. I count on her to be able to explain her positions on the issues and defend her vote.

Right now, the divide is extreme. Dave Reichert, representative from the 8th District, will not accept my letters or emails – even though he is a member of our state’s congressional representation. Such a shame – and such disgraceful behavior for a public servant. I pray that Congresswoman DelBene will not fall into such a trap and turn her back on her constituents, regardless of their political affiliation.
