Public input needed on property development

The current Bothell City Council and the current School Board feel they do not need public input on how the surplus school property in Bothell should be developed.

Their idea of paving over a baseball field and a soccer practice field is not what we want. The requirement that Horse Creek is to be daylighted hopefully will not just be an open ditch along a sidewalk.

Actually, the property is owned by us, the public, and we should have a say in what is to happen. The whole situation should be handled like a comprehensive plan rather than behind-closed-doors planning by a select few.
