Lady Vikings rout Ballard | Prep basketball roundup

The Inglemoor High girls' basketball team had lots of defense and offense on Wednesday night in a 4A Kingco road game against Ballard, routing the Beavers 60-28.

The Vikings led 30-13 at the half and continued to add on to their lead.

Senior taylor Peacocke led all scorers with 16 points, with Chay Fuller adding 11 and Julia Haining nine.

With the win, the Vikings improved to 7-2 in league play and 11-3 overall. They are currently tied for second place in the league with Skyline (7-2, 10-5). Woodinville is still undefeated at 10-0 and 14-1 overall.

 

OTHER GAMES:

 

University of Montana-bound Rachel Staudacher scored a game-high 26 in Cedar Park Christian's 62-19 landslide over Forest Ridge on Tuesday night. The Lady Eagles (9-0), (10-5) face off against Overlake at home on Saturday night, 7:30.

 

Despite a game-high 13 from Kendra Heyer, the Bothell girls' team lost in a rout to Roosevelt 69-30.  Sarah Garinger added seven for the Cougars, who are still searching for their first win this season.
