Three Bothell seniors sign NLIs to play collegiate sports
In a signing ceremony on Feb. 1 at Bothell High School, three Cougar seniors signed National Letters of Intent to play sports at the next level.
Alisyn Cundiff, a forward for the Bothell soccer team and first-team all-Kingco selection, signed with Central Washington University; Austen Dahl, the starting quarterback for the Cougars' football team, is headed to Humboldt State; and Trent Sewell, one of the state's most highly touted receivers, will play for the University of Wyoming.
Sewell was one of only two local players, the other being Mercer Island's Jeff Lindquist, to be nominated for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which took place in San Antonio, Tex. last month.
