February 17, 2012 · 4:08 PM

Junior guard Zach LaVine came up huge for Bothell (15-9) last night with 32 points in a 65-55 4A Kingco consolation finals win over Roosevelt, ending the Roughriders' season and sending the Cougars to a pigtail game against the No. 3 team from WesCo, either Edmonds-Woodway or Lake Stevens pending the outcome of a Saturday night Northwest 4A playoff game, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bothell led 25-22 at the half and never looked back, adding to its lead in the third and fourth quarters.

It was the sixth time LaVine has scored 30 or more this year, with guards Derek Pinder (12) and Perrion Callandret (10) also in double figures.

Tuesday's game will be at the WesCo team's home court, with the winner advancing to the regional round of the state tournament on Feb. 25.
