Bothell High graduate Jordan Boase finished 15th in the 400-meter prelims and qualified for the semifinals at Friday's US Track and Field Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. He finished fifth in his heat in 45.95 seconds.

However, a foot injury forced him to withdraw from the semis on Saturday.

Boase — a member of Bothell's 2004 state champion 4x100-meter relay team and All-American sprinter at the University of Washington — is scheduled to compete in the 200-meter event this Friday.

He also competed in the 400 at the 2008 Olympics Trials in Eugene.

The London Olympic Games will take place July 27-Aug. 12.
