Northshore Little League still standing in Majors District 8 tournament

Three local Little League teams qualified for the 2012 Major Baseball District 8 Washington Tournament, and one of them remains in the hunt for the title.
Northshore first defeated RUG, 20-0, and Queen Anne, 16-6, before losing to Magnolia, 13-7. The team will next take on North East at 6 p.m. tonight at Laurelhurst Field No. 2 in Seattle.
Woodinville West defeated North Bothell, 11-3, and then the locals rebounded with a 10-6 win over Richmond. North Bothell then lost to Queen Anne, 12-11, to exit the tourney.
Woodinville defeated North Lake, 9-3, the locals downed Ballard, 12-1, but exited the tourney with a 4-3 loss to Queen Anne.
