Inglemoor grad Gunsolus named West Coast League MVP

Mitchell Gunsolus, a 2011 Inglemoor High graduate and Kenmore resident, was recently named the MVP of the West Coast League (WCL) for his outstanding performance over the summer with the Wenatchee AppleSox.

Gunsolus, who played third base, set WCL single-season records in hits, runs scored, at-bats and RBI, batting .371 while leading the team to its fifth championship.

The former Viking is starting his sophomore year at Gonzaga and currently plays infield for the Bulldogs' baseball team.
