Inglemoor can’t complete comeback against Skyline | Prep girls soccer

October 4, 2012 · 7:49 AM

The Inglemoor girls soccer team fell behind 3-1 and despite a late rally, was unable to overcome the deficit at Skyline High School Tuesday night.

The Vikings took an early 1-0 lead, as Tessa Howard scored just seven minutes into the game. But Skyline got on a roll, scoring goals in the 21st, 44th and 66th minutes of the game. The Vikings pulled closer as Tessa Howard scored an unassisted goal during the 74th minute but Skyline’s defense prevented Inglemoor from coming any closer during the final six minutes of play.

Inglemoor dropped to 1-2-1 in KingCo play, and 5-2-2 overall thanks to the loss.
