Bothell blasts Redmond for second in-league victory | Prep volleyball

The Bothell High School volleyball team blasted Redmond Monday at home, 3-0, for its second in-league victory of the season.
The Cougar defense began by shutting down the Mustangs and only allowing 13 points during the first game of the match. Redmond didn’t fair too much better during the second game, scoring just 17 points. Bothell finished the match with a 25-18 victory during the third game.
The Cougars were led by Katie Arneson with 10 kills, while Molly Rigdon finished with 25 assists. Both Emma Salud and Meagan Rourke finished with eight kills each.
The win raises the Cougars’ record to 2-4-0 in league play and 4-6-0 overall.
