The Bothell girls soccer team defeated Eastlake 2-0 Thursday at Eastlake High School in a 4A KingCo matchup. Kenzie Bean got the Cougars on the board during the 27th minute on a pass from teammate Samantha Mellick.

Mellick had a second assist just 10 minutes later, as she fed the ball to teammate Samanthan Scuderi for the team’s second and final goal of the game. Keeper Christy Noble earned the shutout for Bothell.

The win improves the Cougars’ record to 2-5 in league play and 5-7 overall.
