Cedar Park shuts down Eatonville | Prep volleyball

October 26, 2012 · 11:28 AM

The Cedar Park Christian volleyball team beat Eatonville 3-0 and apparently broke their will Thursday night at home.

Eatonville came out with determination, playing Cedar Crest tight but eventually losing 26-24.

The second game was just as close but Cedar Park put their opponents away without any extra points, beating Eatonville 25-21.

But Eatonville disappeared during the third and final game, scoring just seven points to lose the match.

Mikayla Massad led the Bothell squad with 12 kills, while Lani Hansen had 24 assists. Cedar Park's Rachel Kumai dominated while serving, collecting nine aces, while teammate Kat Estrada led the defense with 12 digs.

The win pushes Cedar Park to 8-5 in league play and 9-6 overall.
