The Inglemoor girls basketball team was able to survive a six-point second quarter Monday at home against Newport, thanks to big second- and fourth-quarter surges on offense.

Inglemoor won the game 58-47.

The Vikings played an erratic game on offense, scoring 20 points during the second quarter and 21 during the fourth. Inglemoor was blowout during the third period 18-6.

The Vikings were led on offense by Jordana Price with 18 points, while teammates Chalayia Fuller (12) and Deja Strother (10) also scored in double figures.

The Inglemoor girls will host arch rival Bothell on Friday.
