December 15, 2012 · 4:50 PM

The Inglemoor girls basketball team kept rolling Friday with a 71-26 thumping of league rival Bothell at home.

The Vikings used a big first half on defense, allowing just five points during the first and second quarters each, to build a 35-10 lead.

Bothell scored as much during the third quarter as they did during the entire first half, but it wasn't enough, as the Vikings drained shot-after-shot for 22 third-quarter points.

Inglemoor was led by Alex Hagen with 17 points and Deja Strother with 15. Melinda Akoto led the Cougars with 12 points during the contest.

Inglemoor is undefeated with a 3-0 in-league record and 6-0 overall, while Bothell is 1-3 in league play and 1-6 overall for the season.
