Bothell beats Kentlake with big fourth quarter comeback | Prep girls basketball

December 17, 2012 · 12:16 PM

The Bothell girls basketball team struggled Saturday to get anything going. The team scored in single digits during each of the first two quarters and found itself down 24-15 at half time.

But the Cougars used a 22-point fourth quarter to overcome the defect and beat Kentlake 48-46.

The two teams played even during the third quarter, each scoring 11 points. But Bothell doubled the Kentlake point total during the fourth quarter to complete a huge comeback.

Bothell had three player lead the way in the comeback with Brenda Akoto (13), Sierra Cole (10) and Randi Dixon (10) all scoring in double figures.
