Cedar Park Christian Junior Trey Drechsel scored 28 points Friday, pushing the Eagles past Eatonville 70-56.

Christian doubled up their opponents 20-10 during the first quarter but played to a 19-19 stalemate during the second quarter.

Eatonville cut the Eagle lead to just five points during the third quarter, but a strong push during the final period by Cedar Park put the game out of reach.

Drechsel’s point total was a season high for any Cedar Park player. Teammate Evan Scholten also scored nine points during the contest.

Cedar Park Christian is now 5-0 overall on the young season.
