Woodinville uses hot first quarter to beat Cougars | Prep girls basketball

Woodinville used a 21-6 first-quarter advantage to gain momentum and roll to a 64-32 win against the Bothell High School girls basketball team Friday.

The Cougars managed to hang with Woodinville during the second quarter, but scored just four points during the third quarter to lose any hope of a comeback.

The threesome of Sharon, Brenda and Melinda Akoto combined to score 23 of Bothell’s points.
