Bothell hammers Issaquah, Callendret and LaVine combine for 48 points | Prep boys basketball

The Cougar boys basketball team hammered Issaquah Saturday night 68-47 behind the play of their two college recruits during the finals of the Bothell Christmas Tournament held at Bothell High School.
Perrion Callendret led the Cougars with 25 points, while teammate Zach LaVine scored 23.
Bothell got off to a slow start, scoring just 11 first-quarter points. The Eagles led at halftime, 30-27, before the Cougar offense came alive.
Bothell held Issaquah to just seven points during the third quarter while taking the ball to the rim for 20. The Cougars kept the pressure on during the fourth quarter, outscoring their opponents 21-10.
Josh Martin finished the game with 11 points for the Cougars.
Bothell is now 10-0 overall and 6-0 in league play.
