Fourth quarter offensive charge leads Meadowdale past Bothell | Prep girls basketball

A fourth quarter offensive charge led the Meadowdale High School girls basketball team past Bothell Wednesday night, 51-44, to start the second half of the season.

The Cougars gave up 22 points during the final period. Meadowdale scored just 21 points during the first half.

Bothell trailed at halftime 21-18 before tying the game during the third period.

The Cougars Randi Dixon led all scorers with 17 points, while teammate Brenda Akoto scored 13 points.

Bothell is 1-5 in league play and 3-9 overall.
