January 6, 2013 · 10:56 AM

It seems like no one can slow the No. 1 team in the state. Not even a team from out of state.

The Bothell High School boys basketball team entered its game Friday night against Post Falls High School from Idaho with a perfect 10-0 record. It’s now 11-0.

Balanced scoring and a huge first half led to a big win for the Cougars, 77-50, at Bothell High School.

The host team wasted no time in dismantling their opponents’ confidents, building an insurmountable 53-22 halftime lead.

The Cougars cruised to the win during the second half despite scoring just eight points during the fourth quarter.

Bothell’s big three offensive players shared the ball well, making it tough for the Idaho team to defend. Zach LaVine (20 points), Perrion Callandret (19) and Josh Martin (19) led the Cougars to the victory.
