Eagles pound Chimacum by 33 points for in-league victory | Prep boys basketball

The Cedar Park Christian boys basketball team pounded Chimacum for its 11th win of the season Tuesday, 78-45.

The team from Bothell began the game strong, including a 28-point second quarter, to take a 47-19 halftime lead.

From there the team cruised to the victory behind Trey Dechsel's 18 points to lead all scorers.

Teammates Evan Scholten (14 points) and Luke Sauferer (13) both finished in double figures.

The Eagles are now 7-0 in league play and 11-0 overall.
