Slow starts cost Bothell against Ballard | Prep girls basketball

January 10, 2013 · 1:14 PM

The Bothell High School girls basketball team lost Wednesday night to Ballard 55-46.

Getting started was the biggest issue for the Cougars, as they struggled during the first and third quarters.

Ballard took a 29-22 lead into halftime and built on that advantage by outscoring the Vikings 13-9 during the third period.

Randi Dixon led the way for Bothell, scoring 14 points, but she was the only Cougar to score in double figures during the contest.
