Slow first half costs Inglemoor against Ballard | Prep boys basketball

January 23, 2013 · 10:34 AM

A slow first half on offense cost the Inglemoor High School boys basketball team Tuesday night against Ballard. The home game for the Vikings became a first-quarter nightmare as the team only scored six points. The Beavers eventually won the game 65-49.

The slow start continued into the second quarter, as Ballard took a 33-16 lead into halftime. Inglemoor fought back during the second half, scoring 22 fourth-quarter points but it was too little too late to catch Ballard.

The Vikings were led by Trey Miller with 11 points and Cooper Danby had 10 points. Inglemoor had little trouble sharing the ball, as nine players scored for the team.

Inglemoor will travel to Bothell for a rivalry game Friday at 7:30 p.m.
