Bothell beats Sammamish, loses to Juanita in double dual | Prep boys swimming

The Bothell boys swim team split a double-dual meet Thursday, beating Sammamish 108.5-61.5 and losing to Juanita 121-75.

The Cougars managed four individual swim victories during the meet despite competing against two other schools worth of swimmers.

Matt Williamson won the first race of the day, posting a time of 1-minute, 56.64-seconds in the 200-yard freestyle. Williamson then came back and won the 100-yard butterfly (55.73).

Teammate Connor Brunke won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.32. Raz Bar won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.39).

Bothell will now move on to compete at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the KingCo Invitational at the University of Washington Pavilion Pool.
