Slow start costs Cedar Park against Cascade Christian | Prep girls basketball

A slow start on Tuesday cost the Cedar Park Christian girls basketball team, as they lost to Cascade Christian 45-41 in Puyallup.

The team from Bothell scored just 10 first-half points and trailed by 12 points at halftime. The Eagles made a strong push, outscoring Cascade 17-7 during the third quarter but failed to make headway during the fourth quarter.

Cedar Park was led Laura Goodnight with 16 points, while teammate Madison Hunter scored 10.
