Inglemoor's Josh Koukal, Jared Koukal and Gabe Steward all took individual wrestling titles Friday and Saturday, as the Vikings finished third as a team during the KingCo 4A tournament at Skyline High School. Overall, Inglemoor had 10 wrestlers place during the weekend.

Josh Koukal won the 195-pound weight class with an 8-5 victory against Eric Harper of Eastlake. Josh Koukal made it to the finals with a first-round bye, a pin and a technical fall.

Jared Koukal beat Zach Alvis of Bothell 9-1 during his championship match. The Viking earned his way to the finals with two pins, including an extremely fast 37 second second-round victory.

Gabe Steward did not get a first-round bye but dominated the 145-pound division. His first match ended in 37 seconds. Steward's next match didn't end in a pin but was a technical masterpiece with a 22-5 final score. The senior earned a pin fall during the semi-finals (2:30) and doubled up his opponent from Skyline, 12-6, for the championship.

Mitchell Barker of Inglemoor came within an eyelash of winning the 120 pound title. Barker faced Jacob Sands of Roosevelt during the finals but could not get off the mat in a 2-0 loss. Barker's run to the finals was impressive, with a first-round bye, a second-round pin and a 3-1 victory during the semi-finals.

Vikings Telat Sipahioglu (182) placed third, Michael Milcareck (heavy weight) placed fifth, while Jonathan Meiusi (152), Brandon Bratcher (138) and Brandon Potts (126) all finished sixth.

Inglemoor's Jake Lindloff and Ryan Mydske met in the match to decide fifth and sixth place in the 132-pound weight class, with Mydske coming out ahead with a second-round pin fall (2:59).

All the wrestlers will advance to the District meet at Heritage High School in Vancouver, Wash. on Feb. 9.
